MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

 

Continuing Education: HPhA provides many opportunities for members to participate in continuing education opportunities, including Certification Trainings. HPhA continues to explore opportunities to partner with other organizations to provide members with exclusive trainings (i.e., point of care testing)

 

Meeting and Events: HPhA hosts two live meetings annually: General Meeting (generally held in the fall) and Annual Meeting (generally held in early spring). During the COVID-19 Pandemic, HPhA transitioned several events over to a virtual platform to continue supporting the growth and development of students and residents across the state. These events include the Pharmacy Resident Presentations, Pharmacy Residency Showcase, and the Student Meet and Greet programs.

 

Career: HPhA providers members with many opportunities to get involved and help shape the future of our profession. Volunteering to serve on a committee allows members to develop and/or strengthen their technical and interpersonal skills. HPhA continues to offers leadership and mentorship roles. This is a shared opportunity for learning and growth, no matter where a member may be in their professional journey.

 

Advocacy and Legislation: In recent years, HPhA has dedicated resources to keeping members informed on current legislative developments and initiatives impacting the profession. HPhA is committed to representing the interests of its members at the state and national level.

 

Member Recognition: Voted on by the membership, HPhA awards many deserving individuals annually to recognize their excellence in the profession.

 

Discounts: HPhA provides its members with exclusive discounts on meeting registrations, CE and training opportunities and access to member only events.

Newly licensed pharmacist graduating within the past 2 years. This rate is only valid and available to new graduates within their graduation year. All other individuals must register at the "Active Pharmacists" rate.
